Easter Eggs
Yesterday we dyed Easter eggs! Paige was really into it this year! I can't seem to find my camera, so these pictures were taken with my phone. Nama, have you come across my camera with your stuff? Last time I remember having it was at the park last weekend.

Pictures, pictures and more pictures
Both girls had their pictures taken! Paige's were done 2 weeks ago at daycare:

Beautiful weekend
This past weekend the weather was amazingly warm. It actually got up to 70 degrees! We played outside for awhile on Saturday. Paige loves the swing and the slide in our backyard. Justin did some carpentry work to fix the ladder rungs going up to the slide.
With daylight savings time on Sunday, yesterday was a bit of a struggle getting Paige awake in the morning. Well, I think it was tough on all of us. With Justin off for spring break last week and I in Boston, we had both been sleeping in later than our normal schedule. Paige is starting to get another cold, so she had been up coughing a fair bit over night. So I let her sleep in some instead of forcing the time change on her. She also has been skipping naps lately, so the more sleep she can get at night, the better.
For dinner last night, we made these Pop Up Pancakes. They were super easy to make, and just took a few minutes longer to cook than regular pancakes would. I topped them with Strawberries, powdered sugar and syrup. Paige loved them!

Daddy/Daughter time
Jen is on her quarterly business trip out to Boston (or is supposed to be...the snow storm cancelled her flight this morning, so she's actually hanging out with her parents for the night). So, Paige and I have been trying to keep ourselves entertained.
Last night, after mommy drove away, we decided to go to Chuck E Cheese's. It was hopping--the cash register girl actually confirmed with her friend that it's a school night. It took Paige a while to adjust to the noise, but once she did she had fun. She had three(!!) pieces of pizza, and then we ran around and did all the rides. We also played enough games to accumulate 16 tickets, which was good enough for a plastic emerald ring. She was pretty excited, calling it her surprise all the way home.
Tonight, I had planned to do a quiet night at home because Paige has her school pictures tomorrow...until I got notice that the regular season finale women's basketball game at SFU was tonight. I want Paige to see lots of women's sports teams over the coming years, so I decided that as long as she was in a good mood when I picked her up at daycare that we'd go. We sat in the front row, and Paige had a great time. The nice thing about basketball is that it's pretty easy to explain to a 2-year old, and scoring happens often enough that she was able to keep interested. My hope is that sometime tomorrow she'll bring up putting the ball in the basket. :)
We ended up leaving at half-time, when the Red Flash had just battled back in a very physical game to tie it at 24-24. The second half must have been wild, because according to this, the final score was 74-58 in favor of the Flash! Hopefully that will help them get a better seed in the upcoming NEC tournament. It was also nice to see two of my students there, one of which is a current A&P'er.

Beauty and the Beast
Paige's latest movie obsession is Beauty and the Beast. She loves the movie so much that she is randomly quoting lines from it. And they come out of nowhere. It could've been days since she's seen the movie and out of nowhere she'll say: "Mama, there's a girl in the castle" (what Chip says to Mrs. Pots when he hears of Belle for the first time).
The funniest though was the other day when we were shopping in Bed, Bath & Beyond and all of the sudden she takes off running for the door shouting "I have to get home to my Papa" (what Belle says as she runs out of the beasts castle trying to escape). Funny to think she was quoting and acting out a scene. Not funny that other BB&B customers probably thought we kidnapped this poor kid.
