We finally made it back home around 4pm yesterday. It's been a long 3 weeks and I'm feeling like I need a vacation already! We had a really good time visiting with everyone and Paige made out like a bandit with gifts from all the various Santa Clauses.
I'll have to look through my camera to see if I have some pictures to post. I'm hoping I took some!
Things with the house have been moving along. The sellers have met their end of the contract with taking care of the few items we asked for after the inspection. Our close is scheduled for January 26th, just 2 weeks from today!
Paige is adjusting to being back home. She had a rough time going to bed last night, and this morning was a little tough getting her out the door for daycare. She really didn't want to be left there. Hopefully she did ok after awhile and was happy to be back with her friends.

We're glad the trip home went well! Pop and I enjoyed our time with Paige so very much-- she was wonderful. I'm not surprised she didn't want to be left at daycare--she had a week of being on center stage with us and her other cinci grandparents, and was of course overjoyed yesterday when reunited with mommy and daddy :-). we have some great pictures for you and will post soon so you can take any you wish!

Last night and this morning were also tough for her. Lots of resistance, I'm sure because she doesn't want to be left alone--in her bedroom or at daycare. Our daycare people reported that she did just fine yesterday, though, after she was dropped off. She apparently had a great time playing with a kid named Rocco and his trains.

Glad to see that the house inspection went well and that things are finally coming to a close!!!! I am so excited for you all!!! We're going to Lindsay and Derrick's closing for them on January 30, so it's interesting how parallel your lives do seem to be going!!!
Hopefully, getting back into a routine will be good, eh? I'm back to Purdue and living out of suitcases and two time zones each week. Gotta love it!!!
