We made lots of good progress today. In the morning we moved from the kitchen to the family room, and while Paige brought her potty, she was willing to get off pretty frequently for short periods (30 seconds at a time).
We went to McDonalds for lunch (Paige "won" this for having success yesterday) in training pants, but Paige made it there and back without a problem. She wasn't able to go pee before her nap despite trying for 20 minutes, though, and ended up going in her training pants just after she laid down. That was her only accident of the day.
In the afternoon, we decided that the potty now had to stay in the bathroom. This was very successful. She still probably spent more than an hour in the bathroom this evening, but began to venture out for longer and longer periods of time, perhaps as long as a half-hour by the time we had dinner. We watched a Dora episode in two parts, the last part of Beauty and the Beast, and even took a 10-minute trip outside to swing, water the garden, and look for ants. The only disappointment, really, was that she wasn't able to go pee or poop before bedtime despite trying for over a half hour.
Paige was in great spirits about all of this today, and I think she'll continue to get more and more brave tomorrow. The big test will be to see how she reacts to having an accident, assuming she has one. We probably also need to try her with some pants tomorrow evening, as that's what she'll be in on Tuesday (probably going commando--we'll avoid underpants for now, as they might feel too much like a diaper...). I'm feeling pretty good about things right now, but I am also worried about whether one more day will be enough...
