Paige is doing awesome with her potty training.
Yesterday, she proved she's capable of holding it for enormous amounts of time...because she went all day, 8:30-4:30pm, at day care without going! Daycare called at 4:30, and I came in and sat with her for about a half-hour in the bathroom. They have kid potties at daycare, but they're much bigger than she's used to and I think she just wasn't comfortable. But, she did eventually go! Hopefully she'll do better tomorrow.
Even at night with her training pants on she knows better than to just go in the pull-ups. Last night around midnight she called for us and asked to go. Within 10 minutes she did her business and was back to bed!
Today, Paige has been with us all day. She's been doing great. We went to Home Depot this morning, and then to Panera for lunch...and she held it the entire time! We did try to go pee in Home Depot, but she didn't like the huge potty (even with her portable Dora seat). We did decide to wear training pants for gymnastics, and it's good that we did--she had an "accident" in her training pants with about five minutes to go in her lesson. If she had been home, I'm sure she would have been able to make it to the potty. Gymnastics is just a different situation. My feeling is that by next week, however, we'll be ready to do gymnastics without training pants!
Tomorrow will be a big test, as she'll have to face the daycare potty once again. Hopefully, now that she's done it once, she'll be able to do it without me there!

I am sending Lucas up there...he loves sitting on the potty and making a psss noise with his mouth and thinking he is done!
