Paige "ran out of diapers" this morning (at least, that's what we told her). She's officially out of diapers! She is not, however, potty trained. So, we're going to spend a 3-day weekend pantsless (and pantyless) and see if we can't get her using the potty.
Our setup:
1 Kitchen table pushed to the living room to make a play area in an uncarpeted kitchen.
14 Kids movies, including our entire Disney/Pixar collection.
1 Portable DVD player
8 towels, for temporary rugs, cushions, pillows, etc.
1 roll paper towels (with reserves in closet)
1 pack of wipes (with reserves in closet)
1 easel with drawing pad and two-dozen crayons (most of which are broken)
6 coloring books.
~87 books for reading
1 box of fudge brownie mix for baking
1 tube of cinnamon swirl thingies for baking
1 jug of apple juice for hydration.
1 sticker sheet to reward successful potty events
2 boxes of training pants for naptime and nighttime.
Suggestions welcome!

Update (10:05 am): We've had our first accident! Paige is currently scared to get off the potty after peeing on the floor only minutes after getting up from the potty (she had sat on the potty for the entirety of Cinderella).
I've added a scorecard to the upper-right corner of the blog with stats on the current usage.

That's hilarious :) We did the same as I told you before.. Val was totally potty trained the month she turned two-- however she was wearing pullups for naps/nights for months after that. I want to say she was near 3 (it's just a biological thing.. so you may have to stick to those for awhile unfortunately!) they're money drainers!!!! Ellie is doing well during the day but it was much easier in Sicily when we didn't leave the house much. I am not quite sure how to train her to go at the mall, etc.!!! ;)
Oh, we're praying for you all!!!!! Try not to get discouraged, and remember to emphasize the rewards for the "successful" potties and downplay the accidents. This is well worth the effort! Love the tally box on your blog. Too funny.
Love ya!
Please keep me posted on what works...Its not going to be much longer until we are there! I am just laughing to myself about how much our kids are going to hate us when they are teenagers for all the information we shared about them as babies/toddlers. :)
