Easter!

For Easter we were at Grandma and Papa's house this year. Paige found her basket all by herself.

Then she helped Brooke find hers:

The Easter bunny brought her second tooth in on the top! She's been struggling with that one for about 2 weeks before Easter. Now she has a total of 4 teeth!

Tutus

I was feeling crafty and made the girls matching tutus! It was super easy. I just cut strips of tulle and tied them around a ribbon that ties at their waist. No sewing!

I was a little limited on colors, all the craft store had were pastels. I may try it again if I find bolder tulle colors. But aside from that they turned out really well and the girls like them.

Yes, Paige is wearing pajama pants under hers. She was feeling a little expressive in her clothing choices that day.

Beautiful weather

This weekend we had the most absolutely beautiful weather! It's been such a long and rough winter that we were so excited to finally be able to get some outdoors time! We spent a lot of time playing outside with the girls and doing some yardwork preparing for Spring. Here are some pictures I took with my phone:

At Justin's school they put on a little Easter Egg hunt for the kids. Paige wouldn't go near the Easter bunny, but Brooke didn't mind at all!

Picture Day!

On March 2nd, Brooke's daycare had another picture day!

We're planning on going to a portrait studio for her 1st birthday pictures, so I don't think I'll be buying many of these prints.

Brooke's 9 month

Brooke had her 9 month checkup on Friday. She's doing well and hitting all of her milestones. She crawls, pulls herself up, waves, and says mamama, bababa, and dadada. Her favorite game is to play rolling the ball with her sister.

Weight: 17lbs, 6oz

Brooke's first tooth came in 2 days before she turned 9 months (Jen's  birthday). I would list some of her favorite foods, but she loves everything we feed her! She's a very good eater. And now she's starting to be little miss independent and wants to feed herself, so we're moving on to more finger foods and less purees.
