Dear Brooke,
Happy 3rd Birthday! And thank you so much for not
going through the “Terrible Twos” stage! You’re such a caring, sweet little
child. If a friend or your sister is crying or upset, you want to go over and
help them. You take care of your baby dolls/stuffed animals and usually have
one of them with you at all times. You also love animals, especially dogs. And
you’re very sweet to your kitty, Ella.
When you turned 2 I was concerned about your speech and
limited vocabulary. You have improved so much over this past year and now it’s
hard to get you to stop that little chatterbox of yours! You have memorized a
few entire books word for word. You know the words to just about every song
that we’ve ever sung to you…and then some. You love it when we read to you
every night and I bet you’ll be an early reader just like your big sister.
When you make up your mind to do something, there’s no
stopping you. You potty trained this year when you were ready. We just followed
your lead!
You are very patient when you attend activities with big
sister and can’t wait until you can start taking dance lessons and join girl
scouts too. You’re going to love being 3!
